It's the new year

We've got to set you up right this year.  Let's break down how you can write more.

1.) Stop Sleeping so Much

2.) Buy more pens and pencils and notebooks

3.) Find some time

4.) Listen to your favorite music and let everything in your mind out onto the page.  It doesn't have to make sense at first.

5.) Throw a party and tell people you're writing a book.

6.) Make an outline of how you think the story should be on a big ass piece of cardboard.  

7.) CHARACTERS! CHARACTERS!  The more the better and don't be afraid to use MOM but call her Janet (unless your moms' name is Janet, then use something else) Or anyone else you know really well that would be a great character. 

8.)  Write an episode of your favorite TV show just for practice.

November is NaNoWriMo

Ack!  We're getting a late start but November is National Novel Writing Month.  The goal is to put together a 175 Page Book (50,000 Words) in one month.  Typically fiction, but hey, nobody is telling anybody what to do, except to write and write FAST!


Smashwords is offering a promotion and a way to upload your book piece by piece so everyone can keep track of the storyline.

We know we might have to miss a couple nights of sleep, but we live for November.

It's that time of year!

This time of the year reminds me of all those scary stories by Ray Bradbury.  Especially "Something Wicked This Way Comes"

Hope to have some great Halloween Ebooks up for next year, so if anyone has any ideas, it's time to get working on them.

We also plan on releasing a Childrens Christmas Ebook for the iPad this year, something fun with the Caterpillars.
